How Azuki Made $29 Million In 4 Minutes (NFT Case Study) // NFTs are wild, man. Most of the time they wither on the vine and you never even hear about them. And others, they just explode into this massively successful group of overnight millionaires. But sometimes that might leave you wondering how... I mean, to the untrained eye something like Azuki might not seem all the different from other projects you've encountered. And yet, they sold out to the tune of $29 million in ONLY 4 MINUTES. So how did that happen? Well, today, we're answering that question by diving deep into Azuki and pulling every lesson we can out of it for your launch. Ready? Let's do it!

I have no idea what the last half of your sentence means, I’m sorry. That said, if you’re saying there are too many sound effects (which is a feedback I got a fair bit on this video) then no worries, it’s been corrected for future videos! :)

So whats the best strategy for NFT creators (with a unique concept) that do not have multi million $ pockets?
@TrentKennelly
@TrentKennelly 2 жыл бұрын
That really depends on the project - it's like marketing in any situation, very dependent on the project offered. Sorry I can't be more specific, but it really is different each time

hi trent, can you discuss how did they publish and mint 8.7k collection right away and sold out in just 4 mins. to do mint 1 by 1 will take long time to do so, so how did they do that, tq in advance
@TrentKennelly
@TrentKennelly Жыл бұрын
Hey, Muhd! They actually developed a program which is public on GitHub and allowed them to mint everything ahead of time and for less gas. I think the link may be in my description :)

how can you sell on 2 marketplaces at once, nft are unique? or they split the collection on the 2 places?
@TrentKennelly
@TrentKennelly Жыл бұрын
Hi again! I answered this just a second ago on the other video where you asked the same thing, but for convenience, here's the answer: If you're lazy minting, then you run the risk of a double mint. If you want to sell on multiple platforms at the same time, you'll have to mint the NFT so that it has a single origin before posting it for sale. That way, if someone buys it on platform A, it won't be thereafter purchasable on platform B. Hope this helps!

How did Azuki did the marketing? Any Twitter/Discord build up possible? Cause I did not hear about it till it dropped on the nft market
@TrentKennelly
@TrentKennelly 2 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the delay! Azuki had about 46K followers on Twitter at launch, so they were steadily building for several months before the launch. They've also really worked to foster community through their feed :)

Is there big profit in just flipping nft's?
@TrentKennelly
@TrentKennelly Жыл бұрын
It can be! But it's not at all like buying and selling crypto. You have to do deep analysis on every NFT to determine the likelihood of success. And even then, it's not always going to be a winner. I've certainly had a few fails myself in this area.

Hi Trent, I really loved your detailed report on Azuki. Just one question, before they started the Dutch Auctions and mint list, do you know how were they able to gather some potential buyers? Through discord? If so, the whole marketing process really started way back! Thank you very much!!

Thanks for the comment I’m so glad it helped! They spent time building their market via Twitter (46k followers before launch).

Bobu isn’t a game. It’s a voting system.

Also they didn’t call the Metaverse a game, they have gaming under the section metaverse because they would be making a game for the metaverse if they do end up making a game; which they haven’t even announced if they will.
@TrentKennelly
@TrentKennelly 2 жыл бұрын
Hey! Thanks for both messages. As to Bobu - yes, I may have not said that clearly enough, sorry. You're right that it's a coin not a game. As to the game comments, however, I think it's up for interpretation. Just reread it again and I think you can either read this as them creating a "metaverse" but then describing a game OR creating a game inside an existing metaverse. Admittedly it can be read either way

Hey love your videos. So there's a project that i find super interesting. What they do is make nfts alive, talk back and intelligent using AI. Its called Alethea AI. I would love to have your opinion on that. What do you think.
@TrentKennelly

Thanks so much! You're the second person to mention it, so I just checked it out. I can't say I totally get the utility. Can you tell me more?
@eevva4973
@eevva4973 Жыл бұрын
@@TrentKennelly Yeah sure. You can train your nfts after what they can fusion with Alethea AI. You can train their personality as well. It totally depends on you what kind of personality you want for your inft. Youll be able to talk and have discussion with your iNFT. You can create custom broadcasts and have argumentative battles with it. There's a famous quote in their discord. 'With iNFTs anything is possible'. You can use them as your personal assistants or in any way you like. It just depends on your imagination
