It's sad so many people couldn't listen to the message because he has admitted to something MANY people IN the church hide. We do not know if he has repented or not BUT what he is saying is truth. There is so much hate in the church and in the comments below. It is this kind of hate that make people leave the church and not want to know God. Before you tell someone to "Sit down" or "Stop Talking" ask yourself, would Jesus listen to them and have a conversation with them or judge them and not talk to them. I pray through Gods help, guidance, and love he is able to work through whatever internal struggles he may have and I pray everyone who has judged this man is able to see the beauty in him and pray for him as well. No, it's not a buffet that you can pick and choose yet nearly every modern Christian I know is taking the Bible to their local country buffet. So many examples, but we can just start with how biblical patriarchy is not even REMOTELY close to our modern understanding of male/female relationships. It's incredible when I hear folks talk about the unchanging nature of God, transliterate their KJV into modern 21st century concepts. Anyone who's taken a foreign language will tell you that there are some things that translate poorly, now add 2000 years of societal difference. What's happening is that knowledge is no longer monopolized by a few. I encourage everyone to not just read the scriptures but to study it; study the entire context; study the entirety of the messages and attempt to understand the word and the oracle from which the word comes. I'm willing to bet many who claim they "know" spend more time watching Empire than their combined time committed studying the book they claim is the most important topic of their lives. The problem is people don't want real truth. They don't want to be held accountable for their sins and deal with their issues. They just want lullabies and water-downed messages. We as believers have to be honest and responsible for our own walk outside of the traditional church service. It's called a daily walk for a reason. Prayer, discernment, Holy Spirit, the Word, and a willing spirit to receive truth no matter how hard it is. This is why many young people won't go to a church because of the facades and Hollywood attitudes. It's sad.

It so good to see that he still has a desire to know God. Thank you Jesus. There are many who have seen so much confusion and legalism and have been victims of abuse to the point it has made them totally renounce God and his entire existence. And it is necessary that they find God outside of that environment for a season because their view of God has been so intertwined with their view of the people in church that they have to have an one on one encounter with God like Paul on the Road to Damascus and to see God as he truly is, that he loves them and that he desires Good and not evil against them and that he is not like man.. What stands out for me, though, is his honesty, and sincerity regarding the local church and its affect on its attendees. So much has happened down through the years to challenge the church in being more cognizant of its approach to true ministry. We can no longer pretend or hide before the world in our beautiful cathedrals and saintly apparel. They see us, because we show ourselves to them daily. However, they are looking for authenticity in our message AND in our lives. Unfortunately, we (yes, I include myself) do not always represent this well. As a result, many have lost hope, faith and their pursuit of truth which can only be found in Jesus. This interview makes me want to be a better representation of the God who lives within me, and of the love He shows to us all. There is no doubt in my mind that this young man loves God and is in pursuit of God's truth for his life. Shouldn't we all be doing this daily? It takes a lot to be honest with yourself (whew!), and then with God. B Slade has taken the time to do this, and I believe God honors this, and will show Himself to him as he continues to seek Him. Thats just the self righteous, judgemental "Christian Way". Listen I'm an androgenous male and I have had the EXACT same experience in both the Christian and LGBT Community. No longer am I allowing church people so deep they need a shovel trying to tell me what God wants for me. I am a Gay man created in the image of God. If I am broken, I don't have to live in my brokenness for the simple fact that God's grace is sufficient for me in my brokenness. God said he would make us fishers of men... he didn't tell us to clean the fish! I am Gay and I am ok and God's plan for me will be his plan and I wouldn't trade my journey for anybody's version of sanctification. You don't have to agree, approve, condone, or accept it. I did what God said.. I came as I am and did what he said. Let everything that has breath, praise him. The reason preachers and people of God are against acts and of being homosexual is because Gods word says those people will not inherit the kingdom of God. Other than that yes we are supposed to love everyone, but not everyone ways. Why would God destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. ans not judge us. That wouldn't be fair. It wasnt meant to be. If it was there wouldn't be me or you. It takes male and female to make a child. I agree that It is a travesty to cancel the choir and the quartet. These are the mainstays of the Black community and gospel music. I really can relate to this whole conversation, growing up in church all my life they are correct things are not as they use to be and we did take the words of the Pastor instead of searching out the word for ourselves. I appreciate both of these demons so much because it just makes the Word of God of effect and make a the return of Christ imanant. Keep doing what y'all are doing because the Word is being fulfilled. true believers...contiune to watch as well as pray....look up your redemption draweth nigh.

Let me help y'all out in here... YOU CAIN'T FIND GOD IN "CHURCH"! YOU FIND GOD IN AN UP CLOSE AND VERY PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH THE ALMIGHTY CREATOR. "CHURCH" IS A SYSTEM AND HAS BECOME A PART OF THE SYSTEM OF THE WORLD. "CHURCH DOESN'T TELL THE PEOPLE OF GOD TO LIVE HOLY ANYMORE "CHURCH DOESN'T TELL THE PEOPLE OF GOD TO STUDY TO SHOW THYSELF APPROVED (2 TIM 2:15). "CHURCH IS LEADING THOSE THAT DON'T AND WON'T LIVE ACCORDING TO 2 TIM 2:15) BACK INTO BONDAGE AND AWAY FROM KINGDOM LIVING. THE TIME IS NOW AT HAND FOR KINGDOM LIVING.

I wasn't raised in the church and I love church... Praise and Worship has helped changed me, mold me and saved me. The House of the Lord for me is where you get that spiritual fill up the hospital so your going to have sick people in the church because they are there for Healing. Stop looking for the church to be perfect because it's not. I Love Church... Thank You Jesus
