Last week I asked for prayer for my husband and myself on Monday. My husband had to be moved to the ICU and I canceled my procedure and it’s been rescheduled for December 12 but my husband remains in the ICU he has developed kidney failure and have started dialysis last night. Got pneumonia, we need to have continued prayer, his name is David. My name is Anne and we watch the Doss family videos almost daily on every day and we love them love all the animals. I just I do ask or continue praying for my husband. He has never really been sick like this in ICU first time he’s ever been in ICU and he’s very weak now and like I said, please pray for him and we greatly appreciate it. All prayers thank you

I know exactly how you feel LeaAnn...my hubby used to tell me how I didn't cook things like his Mom. After hearing it for the first few years of our marriage (Sunday is our 46th wedding anniversary), one day after hearing "That's not how Mom makes it" I handed him the car keys. He asked me what he was supposed to do with them and I told him that should probably go eat dinner at his mom's house! 🤣 I love watching your videos. Have a blessed Thanksgiving.❤

We love our parents and when we find a mate we love them different from our moms. My husband never left the table until he said thanks mom I enjoyed my dinner or whatever we had. He never compared me to his mother ( who I loved like a mother) and I never compared him to my dad. I think a man that would compare his wife to his mother has very poor self esteem. No matter what I did my husband said praised me for it and I did the same for him. I’m sure our Lord expects us to respect one another and to never ever put the other down. We called each other Mom and Pop.

@ my husband lost his dad when he was only seven years old. His mom and him where very close. His mom was a loving caring woman who taught him to respect everyone and to be loving. I know he did not mean anything by saying that he was just making a statement. My husband does not have low self esteem just the opposite. He has always given me encouragement through all our years of knowing each other and our married life. as well as to our children and grandchildren and their children. During my cancer scare he was always there for me. I am there for him as well and now he and I are in our golden years and found out he has 1 to 5 years to live. There is nothing that can be done and we have turn to God for helping us threw this scary rough time. It will be rough as his disease progresses and I will be there for him. I do not want to think about time without him, I am only going to try and live in the present and enjoy what time we have together.

It’s hard to loose love one’s around the Holidays. Blessings to you and family. We loss our oldest brother at 42 Christmas Eve evening he was coming home from his in laws family get together and an older couple T-boned them. Sadly it killed them as well, but we were blessed our sister in law and his children were ok, some injuries. Changed our lives overnight, changed Christmas for us for ever more. I remember sitting with my own little one’s and pretending everything was fine as they opened Christmas presents from Santa. Then going to my parents house and our poor dad sobbing and yelling to get the Christmas tree and presents out of the house. Then 2 1/2 months later a baby nephew 22 months old dying at the hands of a careless nurse. That time period was hard.😢

I have seven dwarf goats young and older. They stay close together everywhere they go. I am pretty sure your baby goats are wanting to be close to the other goats and dogs. The putting straw down on top of the poo and other straw over the winter is called Deep Bedding. It keeps the chickens warmer during the winter. Your animals are so spoiled.....lol It's easy to see you guys love your animals. They will all be nice and warm.

It’s called deep layer bedding. You don’t have to clean it as often as the pooped bio degrades all by itself!! I had a big barn and it works great. I used pine shavings. Same idea!! Great idea grandma!!!

Deep litter or a "carbonacious diaper" as Joel Salatin calls it definitely builds up some heat for the animals. That helps make me feel a little better, knowing the cold is on the way. I'm trying to figure out how to keep the extension cord safe from the chickens so I can do some sort of heater for their water.🤪🤣🥶
