i feel like the main reason link and toon link aren't punishing correctly is because their forward smash is a two-parter and maybe the cpus aren't designed for that. Also, i have a bad ai tip for smash ultimate(if you didn't make one yet). so basically, the cpus in ultimate always airdodge whenever you get close to them and they are in the air. this makes fighting cpus extremely easier because you can just wait for the airdodge to come out when they are in the air.

That thing with Bowser Jr’s final smash also applied to Pit in Brawl. I believe there was another final smash in smash 4 or brawl where the cpu would spam neutral b as it executed, but I could be wrong.

Actually, it also applied to Luigi in Brawl as well. Regardless of his level, he would just keep spamming fireballs after using negative zone until the barrier vanished.

Well aside from model being a lesser generation of a console, giving them a good (at the time) look, the overall launch speeds are slower, which was funny, cause Smash Ult released, many said how they will never get used to it

Here's one you can add when you start making the SSBU episode. When playing Slow Smash against a lv 9 Lucas, for some reason when he's far offstage after using up his double jump, he'll always aim his PK Thunder away from him, causing a self-destruct. It's been this way since day one.

CPU Bayonetta never uses Witch Twist before her midair jump when recovering CPU Palutena never uses Super Speed to recover, and won't try to attack after using Jump Glide even when onstage. CPU Palutena never uses Angelic Missile to recover. CPU Pac-Man never uses Power Pellet to recover. CPU Ryu never uses Focus Attack Dash Cancels to recover. CPU Mii Brawler never uses Feint Jump to recover. CPU Luigi, Sheik, and Zero Suit Samus never aid their recoveries with their respective down specials CPU Charizard never uses Flare Blitz to recover.

All I remembered from lv 9 cpus in this game is that they always did consistent perfect shields and bullshit frame perfect airdodges, not sure if I prefer how they handled that in Ultimate where they just airdodge if you go near them or immediately airdodge after done with hitstun

Most CPUs in Smash never punish shield breaks. They tend to not respond well or at all if the opponent isn't constantly making an input or is in mid-air. Ganondorf is an outlier in a sense as he seems to use his up tilt frequently and most of the time with disregard to the move's very high start up so there's a chance he'll use this move after shield breaks. I guess Bowser Jr. inhereted Luigi's Final Smash quirk from Brawl. Unsure if he retained this in Ultimate.

One specific trait I've noticed is that if you use Down-B as Kirby above the screen, level 9 CPUs will never shield or move out of the way. They just take the hit

With the one with up airs, that gives me a horrible memory. When I played Smash 4, if I was up against either a Luigi or Falco level 9 CPU, they would spam Up Tilt until I'm at a high percentage. And depending on who I was, this was inescapable.

In ultimate, when I upsmash under platforms with dk the CPUs tend to act confused even if I spam it consecutively. Just know it isn't a very extreme effect because the ultimate CPUs are very good

I would love to see Smash 4's 3DS version. There are other stages available in that game, some of which mess with the AI in other Smash games, and there may or may not be bugs in the AI of the 3DS version not found in the Wii U version, due to hardware differences between the two consoles potentially limiting what they can do on 3DS.

One you didn't mention: I dont know if this happens with cpu but it happened with my lv 50 amiibo but mewtwo charges their shadow ball fully at a distance, and then sometimes doesn't dodge/shield to cancel the charging to have a full charged shadow ball, so they are easily punished.

Alright, I have a few complaints about this video. 0:08 "All CPUs are set to level 9" I don't think this is true. A level 5 or 6 might make these mistakes, but not a level 9. There's also A very slight possibility that you could be hacking the game to control the CPUs in some way. 2:23 "Mewtwo tends to teleport while falling down" The thing is, this is actually a good option if you don't teleport straight into your opponent. 3:37 "CPUs spam shield against SOL" It's a custom move. Nobody uses custom moves and Nintendo probably didn't expect the CPUs to be against it. 4:10 "Cloud spams limit charge and blade beam at a distance" Camping for limit was actually a good strategy in For Glory. 5:28 "Jigglypuff never uses rest" In the clip you showed, bowser was shield broken, but rest hitbox is basically half the size of Jiggs but stuck to her for like 2 frames, so the CPU could probably miss rest and get punished. An Fsmash would still almost kill bowser, as you demonstrated. There, thats everything. Feel free to yell at me in the replies section.

I played a lot of team battles with CPU players and I noticed that when any of the CPUs lose all their lives they consistently IMMEDIATELY share a stock from their teammate(s).

Same, and they do that in Smash Ultimate a lot, too. Although in SSBU they sometimes do it instantly, and sometimes they wait a bit. There have been way too many times in both games that I've seen a CPU share-stock off of a teammate just as that teammate was flying off-screen, and it's always a little sad. But of course we laugh because no one likes the CPUs.
