@Braincell923 ай бұрын
I think Russell Wilson’s veteran intelligence will help the team a lot even if his skills are a little diminished. Just that knowledge will help out our offensive to become better. Fields would probably fall off I don’t see fields having a 10-7 season. I see him having a 5-12 or something. But sometimes just like Drew Brees had 4 or 5 crappy seasons before he became a all pro so you never know honestly. Some players need time or a change of scenery

The Steelers didn't just send him packing. They brought in legit competition in Russell Wilson - which is what Mike Tomlin said he was going to do. Kenny frowned in the face of adversity. Backed down from the challenge. Didn't want to compete. He blinked and asked for a trade. Ironically, had he stayed, he would have started the first 6 games of this season and would have been able to make a case for himself. Instead, the Steelers got more for him in the trade than they'll be giving up for Justin Fields. It all worked out for the best.

Kenny Pickett and Matt Canada prove that the Steelers could start Hellen Keller at QB and Tomlin would still find a way to win.

To be fair the play calls this entire time were absolutely atrocious

Had to get rid of pickett and trubisky but we should of kept Rudolph-he was going pretty good last few games.

Please don’t forget that Kenny Pickett was supposed to play behind Russel Wilson but, asked for a trade.

As someone once said if kenny played all 4 quarters the way he play the last 4 minutes of the 4th we wouldn't be here

Steelers o line was really bad. And the WRs were bitching making it toxic for their QBs. Fields looks better, but he probably isn’t. It just looks that way cause he’s had decent amount of time and their schedule so far been as weak as possible.

If you put kp on the bears last season and fields on the steelers. I think we both know kp would have had no where near the still unimpressive season fields had. There is no question fields is better than kp which isnt a high bar at all. Not saying fields is even good but better than kp? no question

bro he has a 5 min plus tape of missing reads and wide open targets he literally didnt look like he should be in the NFL

It’s the way the coaches coached and teach em that’s why he’s bad he was good in college but Nfl he’s bad
@3BRAD52 ай бұрын
the level of competition in the nfl is much higher than the weak little old acc kp was playing in in college. You do realize most of the guys he played with and against in college arent even in the league. Nfl coaches are helping these guys prepare for the next game not teaching them how to play

Those pics weren’t his fault. Those throws were pretty much dots. They were just muffed

That's only because Mitch Trubisky lost all the time which made Kenny look good since Kenny at least won games in the 4th quarter and had a winning record.

We should have stayed with Kenny honestly I think this would have been his best year by far, and with our number 1 ranked o line he would go crazy

Thinking Pittsburgh would beat the Bills is crazy Also Pickett is the 1st day one pick qb that I think doesnt have any potential on another team. Even Zach Wilson is an athletic freak id see something to take a chance on.

What everyone forgets is when Russel Wilson was traded to the Steelers Kenny could have learned and competed for the QB job, but instead decided to be a crybaby diva and become a backup for the eagles, a team who has a good qb right now so he’s just going to stay as a backup. It’s not that he didn’t get a fair chance once Matt Canada was gone, it’s just that he didn’t want it and he’s to blame for it
