How Badals & Sumedh S Saini exchanged favours? Punjab's high stake quid pro quo decoded?

The relationship between Badals- Parkash Singh Badal and Sukhbir Singh badal on one side and ex DGP Punjab Sumedh Singh Saini on the other side has been rather a quid pro quo of sorts. The give and take relationship can be understood in the eventology that transpired from 2007 onwards till DGP Sumedh Singh Saini had to be removed from the position of DGP Punjab following cases of sacrilege and subsequent outcry.
Ritesh Lakhi, through his video, establishes the eventology in a rather different perspective tracing back the beginning of this relationship between political masters and their police subordinate who eventually plays a significant role. Though not established clearly, the circumstances and events as they happened go on to explain how cases of disproportionate assets and corruption against former Chief Minister and his Deputy CM Son were defeated in courts of laws.
Ritesh Lakhi recalls the association and beginning of a mutually advantageous association between Badals and Saini from the time latter assumed the charge as Vigilance Bureau chief in Punjab way back in 2007 and what happened subsequently in the criminal cases filed against Badals is a matter of record as witnesses and investigating officials, one after the other, turned hostile and junked the facts as put up in Challans and Chargesheets, thereby paving way for acquittal of Badals in the infamous disproportionate cases filed in 2003.
