Thanks a lot. I love this optimistic new perspective. As a Bangladeshi, we actually have concerns. A lot of hidden conspiracy is going on. But when my heart was anxious, Allah sent me a message. I saw a message from Mufti Menk saying "Do Not Overthink. Because no matter what, Allah's plan will execute." And Alhamdulillah, that instantly put me at ease. We don't really need to overthink because when we face calamity or anxiety, we pray to Allah. And eventually, Allah sends us help. Alhamdulillah.

Mujibur Rahman the so called father of nation actually was the first autocratic leader in Bangladesh who shut down all news papers, abolished all opposition parties and generated a reign of fear among citizens. His daughter Hasina also followed father's footstep and rulled the country for over 16 years without election and politicized every institutions of the state to serve only her purposes. Accumulated anger for long years in general people erupted on July 2024 and she fleed the country after a violent crackdown of the protesters leaving thousands killed and many severely injured. After fleeing from Bangladesh Hasina is now trying to destabilise the nation using propaganda by her loyal thugs appointed illegitimately on different positions.

My neighbours across the foyer is a family of migrant workers from Bangladesh. My housemate is also a migrant worker from Bangladesh. There are many Bangladeshis living in my neighbourhood. So I'm very connected to Bangladesh & Bangladeshis. I felt their pain when Bangladeshis were suppressed, oppressed and killed by Firauna Hasina. I shared their joy when the she-devil BJP-puppet was ousted by the student movement. I pray that Bangladesh will rise to its full potential post-Hasina.

The divide & subjugate strategy has been used since the beginning of time. Be wise, stay UNITED. We respect people of all races, religions and political ideologies and will endeavour to live in peace and harmony with all living beings. In addition we would love to see people from all backgrounds and ideology united in protecting and upholding each other’s fundamental human rights. Ok I didn’t realize his father is the person who assassinated the founder of the country, father of Sheikh Hasina. After reading the reasons that led his father to assassinate the founder, I realize he had no ill intentions but to establish justice. Col. Farouk would have attempted to assassinate Sheikh Mujib earlier if not for his colleague stoping him. Basically a man named Muzammel and his goons attacked a newlywed in a taxi and killed the husband and the driver. They proceeded to abduct the bride and r*ped, killed and dumped her body. Col. Farouk was given the task to investigate this in Tongi and he arrested Muzammel after interrogating the goons. Muzammel offered Col. Farouk 300k taka ( a hefty some in 1970s money) to let him go but when the Col. Refused he challenged that sheikh Mujib would come and release him and there’s nothing he could do then and the money offer wouldn’t stand till next morning. The next morning when Col. Farouk returned he found the cell empty and his colleagues did say sheikh Mujib did indeed come to release him. That’s the day he decided he would assassinate the president. Muzammel was MP of liberation war during sheikh Hasina rule. Irony is he was one of the collaborators against the liberation of Bangladeshi people.

Good to hear from this guest. Bangladesh has suffered for the greedy political parties for long among them Sheikh Hasina's regime has been the worst. We pray that may we have a just ruler who will rule the country according to the Sharia. Muslim countries including Bangladesh have suffered because of secularism. It's high time we establish sharia, Allah's law. Sharia is the solution to all of our problems. The sooner we realize this the better.

Rich for what , do you have petroleum?, do you have coal or do you have other minerals in abundance , do you have any kind of technological expertise, Do you have architectural advancement if you have any , None , all you have is cheap labours ready to work in garments sectors at any salary they can get , so that's why they are poor, and not to forget the textile industry that flourished in Bangladesh which is a sucess is mainly credited to Sheikh Hasina , if she wouldn't have propelled it possibly Bangladesh would have died in hunger.

same story in africa.... its a blessing and a curse to have these natural resources. The rich counties want to exploit the resources so it destabilises your country and install dictators but without these resources the country couldn't thrive... Its a very big issue which plagues the global south

@@abduking. Well fortunately Bangladesh has natural resources but not what the west wants. We have a small amount of natural gas. Not so significant. But we have many natural resources like water, mangrove forest, stones, different types of fish in the bay of bengal etc. But sadly no PM ever used them properly. But after the revolution happened recently there's a little hope. There is no corruption for now. The conditions of our stock markets have improved a little It's a good sign.

Just don't let foreign interventions especially the CIA in the country. Also allow a society of tolerance to develop where basic rights of people are ensured. All those who talk of murder, first try to comprehend and have a better understanding of your own history. What about all the enforced disappearances, murders of political opponents and innocent civilian during Hasina’s over 15 years autocratic rule. That is in addition to all the similar wrongdoings by Sheikh Mujib after the 1971 liberation war up until trying to establish the one party BAKSHAL. Does the murder of innocent everyday people not equate or matter? Or is it just that Mujib and family are somehow special and can get away with all the looting, murdering and plunder of the country he was tasked with looking after. Karma and justice have a way of getting back. “The two most powerful warriors are patience and time” Leo Tolstoy

Quick facts. Bangladesh 🇧🇩 economically carried half of Mughal Hind on its back. The Nawabs of Bengal 🇧🇩 were basically bankrolling the Mughal Emperors in Delhi until the late 1670's, when the British arrived. The Mughals produced ~1/4 of the world's GDP at its Zenith & around ~1/2 of that was coming from Dhaka Subah 🇧🇩, which was economically akin to the _Mumbai of the Moghuls._ If you have learned math, physics or any subject from Khan Academy, know that Sal Khan is a Bengali. The first non-European Nobel Prize winner who wrote the national anthems of India and Bangladesh was Tagore, a Bengali. The class of quantum particles that obey Bose statistics, *the Boson,* was named after Satyendra Nath Bose, a Bengali. Khan Bahadur Qazi Azizul Haque, Bengali mathematician & co-inventor of the fingerprint technology police still use to tell fingerprints apart. Atisa Dipankara Shrijnana, one of the major figures in the spread of 11th-century Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism in Asia and inspired Buddhist thought from Tibet to Sumatra, was a Bengali. Bengal has been near the heart of many of the largest empires in the Indian subcontinent including Ashoka's Mauryan Empire (325 - 185 BCE), the Gupta Empire (240 - 550 CE), and the Bengali Gopala would later found the Pala Empire (750 - 1161 CE), followed by Shamsuddin Elyas Shah & the Bengal Sultanate (1352 - 1576 CE).

You have definitely potential . Your economy was ahead of India . Hope you don't turn out like Pakistan . Identity crisis is real among South Asian Muslims . Look he is an educated Muslim but his history and heritage starts from Mughal Empire . He himself talked about how African American have suffered because they aren't connected to their identity and roots . How distant are they . Then immediately tells about his heritage which started from 1400 years ago . What about the history before 7th century ?
