@@MatthewCenance Reverse Bee Adventure, letting you play as the Bee transformation in levels other than Click Clock Wood. The name itself is a joke based on a glitch from Zelda Ocarina of Time called RBA (Reverse Bottle Adventure).

Kudos for putting together these high quality videos on the new findings so quickly, not to mention getting the run itself during in the middle! It's pretty funny when you discussed the potential improvement that 255+255+200+100 makes exactly the 810 notes you need to collect, the devs had a lot of foresight to set that up for us :)

Amazing. I always thought Banjo runs were remarkably low in glitches when compared with its famous contemporaries SM64 and OoT, but since RBA it seemed to step up quite a bit and now this POG route seems like it will completely break the scene, much like those other games (which admittedly are still way more broken). Exciting times ahead, congrats on the incredible run

Jesus Christ. I remember playing the 360 version when it first came out thinking “this’ll never be faster because you can’t skip textboxes”. God, how naïve I was. I know obviously there’d be no real reason to be there in the first place, but I wonder if this glitch could be used during the Seasonal Door cutscenes to quickly go from one season of CCW to the next?

I wonder how many notes you can get in total now? It sounds like maybe you could do a chain of 100, 200, and four 255s (making sure you get at least one note in each level, then going back for more in the previous levels), and 100 on the other three, for 1620 total. For a save file, maybe 127 on 5 levels and 100 on the rest for 1035?

I remember playing banjo kazooie and when i tried a new game everything was completed it... i was a kid and never completed the game but it was pretty strange to see the life bar all red and everything in the game was opened.

I'm surprised that the ability to skip text doesn't make N64 faster, but I don't follow BK speedrunning, so I'm sure there's many good reasons.

Yeah the main difference is the demo desync glitch and pause overlap glitch dont work on n64. Otherwise it would be much faster
