We know the airplane can stall at any airspeed, but why is this? When we're in a banked turn, in order to maintain altitude we have to increase lift, which adds to our load factor and moves the stall speed up. It's possible to have an accelerated stall at higher bank angles, where the aircraft experiences a stall well above where the beginning of the white or green arc may be.
