I would be so happy if Dexter and Booker become fundamental pieces for our D-line. If Caleb is the dude, we can finish our rebuild next draft..

I agree. Poles has one more draft to finish most of the rebuild. And he has extra picks next year to do it
@trevorredlarczyk50572 ай бұрын
Yup 100%. A 1st and 2 2nds with Carolina likely being a top 3 pick in second round is essential to completing what we need. OL and DL picks would be huge for our depth.

@@richmargin6082 That Carolina 2nd round pick is extremely valuable. I’m pretty sure that’s gonna be a top 35 pick. Poles can easily trade into the first round if he really likes somebody.

We need a long term young bruiser of a safety, and we need to polish up the O-line. Otherwise, the roster is looking really really good already. Of course a pass rusher is of dire need right now, and I sense a mid-season trade to address a need.
@mclew12342 ай бұрын
@@FR-nc3vb given where we are if that picks is 32-38, which it should be, then I don't mind giving up giving up a future mid-rd pick to get back in to the 1st Rd in the 30-32 range simply for the 5th year option that can help keep a player on a team friendly deal a year longer. Jacksonville paid a 4th & 6th Rd to move from 33 to 27 a couple of years ago, something i'd pay considering where the roster is at

Pass rushing and pressuring the QB is honestly a sparse occurrence during a game unless you have a superior or killer defense. So when one guy shows you repeated pass rushing plays within a game I’d say that’s pretty unusual. If it continues I’d say there’s definitely a decent chance he could be a solid pass rushing specialist. But certainly not guaranteed. DJ and Bucky Brooks from NFL Network former scouts both had high regard for Austin Booker.
