Known as the agricultural revolution, it ended hunter-gathering and led to the world’s first ever civilisation - Mesopotamia. The drive to grow more barley in order to make more beer led to a cascade of inventions: the plough, the wheel, irrigation, mathematics and even writing. Beer’s hidden hand has been behind some of history’s most remarkable breakthroughs, from the discovery of germ theory to the invention of refrigeration, the birth of the factory and the end of child labour. Beer didn’t just change the world, it saved it!

A bunch of historians had a conference in Munich in September. And went to the Octoberfest. After the fifth Mass, the result was this. Once the hang-over was gone, they disavowed it all, but it was too late: it had already escaped to the Internet 🍻🍻🍻 PS: the fact that this is a mockumentary made in the country that has committed some of the worst crimes against beer (they even show off their crimes in one scene when you see the abominations like Coors Lite!) is *really* proof that they're taking the piss.

I did three months in the US back in 2015 and drank plenty but never touched, Bud Coors or Millers. The 'locals" had a ton of craft stuff to get full on !!!!
