I have a new respect for Artur after he beat Callum Smith. He used all of his skills to completely shut down Callum and tear him apart.

Callum Smith said Artur was sacrificing power for volume. he believed it was just 50-60% of hes actual one big shot. those short arm punches was too close that Callum couldnt land effective counter big left hook

Gvodzyk was a top class LHW, a world champ in his prime and a very slick boxer far superior to Callum Smith and anyone he’s faced (Canelo aside). Beterbiev walked through him and took him apart not just with his brutish power but astute ring generalship, footwork and IQ. Smith is in for a bad beating tonight.

Just imagine for a moment that legitimate and extremely capable World champion Gvozdyk was hunted down continuously from the first bell until he was badly KO'd. There was no escape from the violence. He then spent 3 days in a hospital bed "recovering" from his injuries and trauma. He retired from boxing soon after. No wonder Canelo doesn't want to be his next car crash victim.

The way Berterviev demolished gvozdyk was stunning taking into account before the fight Berteviev was considered the weakest champion at 175 even below than Kovalev while gvozdyk was the boggie man at 175 the way he ended Stevenson’s career. I have it 65/35 for Beterbiev-->bivol

Dmitry Bivol's 3 key factors: 1) relying on mobility; 2) use the lead hand to control the range; 3) land rapid-fire combinations. Artur Beterbiev's 3 key factors: 1) being calculated; 2) cut off the ring; 3) unleash volume punching. I think that's gonna be a potential classic battle between two helluva fighters with two different styles Just make this super fight happen 👍🥊🦈

People are too focused on the power when the guy is a top champion because of his skills and intelligence. We're not seeing him "age" because while he's pretty active and mobile his style isn't predicated on speed/quickness. UK homers keep acting like the Yarde fight exposed something when it didn't look much different than this fight or the Browne fight. Expect vintage Beterbiev and Smith taking a nap relatively early.

Bivol is young and in elite condition. He wins in 12rounds. He has effective (connects and wins rounds) offense, and even better defense in and out!). There is a strong chance that Beterbiev hits him early, and Bivol looses his game plan. In that case, Beterbiev just walks him down and beats up to pulp. 60:40 Bivol

Bivol is solid, but so was Gvozdyk.. people give him way too much credit for the Canelo win I feel tho, but forget Beterbiev has fought monsters in the amateurs, even managed to put down Usyk (who's probably the slickest guy in the business rn with Crawford). We shall see with Bivol, but I think Beterbiev will manage to take away his mobility and eventually catch up with him.. 50/50 fight
