Man I had a similar experience with beyblade my beyblade days started 5 years ago when I was at Walgreens I was 6 years old walking through a toy section we got home my big cousin taught me how to play with it so I started buying more when I found out that my big cousin siblings played beyblade to I battle my cousin he had a bey I never seen before that's when I found out about takara tomy and I started buying beyblade in Japan by the way they were burst beys then we Had a home beyblade tournament I became champion then burst gen ended then I saw beyblade x then me and my brother bought a lot of x beys blader spirit forever I will never give up beyblade I will never forget those days😊

Beyblade ended up being the one “Not playing computer games” game hobby that stuck for me. And playing with great folks like yourself and our amazing local community helped reinforce that!

I'm 34 and the ascetic return to form relative to the plastic generation is what pulled me back in. I'm 2 months and about 1000 dollars in and ready to start running tournaments at my LGS in the greater Pittsburgh area. It's been an awesome climb and I'm excited for the great things Beyblade in 2025 has to offer.

Awesome stuff! My first ever Beyblade X tournament since getting back into Beyblade after nearly 20 years was at Toys"R"Us a few months ago. They actually had 2 judges for the single stadium and each fully dismantled my bey and inspected it before asking me to put it back together. At least they were fair 😂 looking forward to playing more tournaments and meeting more people in the community in 2025!

The first time I experienced Beyblade, it was either through a clip of the anime or that IRL commercial that shown off the Vortex Battle Set. I still have my very first still to this day. Rock Leone 145WB. I loved the hell out of the toys, the anime and the content creators at the time who still do Beyblade content (except my boy DrigerGT, miss ya AMVs) lost interest when Metal Fury ended mainly due to how Hasbro treated the non-Hyperblades. I barely cared about Burst and didn't know it went on until its last year of release. I only got back after searching through some old saved playlists and saw a BeybladeGeeks playlist I forgot about and saw the Beyblade X Playlist and wondered what was going on. I hadn't realized that Beyblade went wild again. I did some research on how Hasbro treated Burst and was skeptical until I saw the content creators talked about how authentic the Hasbro beys were and was hooked. And I made it just in time for the Hasbro launch. The first day it released in June in my local Walmart, I bought Dran Sword, Arrow Wizard, and Knight Shield. The night I bought it, I played with Arrow Wizard and Dran Sword in an old stadium, they flew out of the stadium and I knew, I had to get back into Beyblade. And get an official X stadium. I'm now into deep.

I got back into Beyblade still yet start going to locals been dealing with depression and anxiety this year but beyblade really has help with that and promises myself to start meeting new people who's into the game next year 😊

I used to be a really active Judge in LA from before and throughout Burst. Sadly, I got a job and had to move away. Unless there's an LA tournament on the 4th, I'll be going to the SD tournament, and it'd be awesome if you could make it!
