It’s so nice she was so comfortable in grandma’s house. I had to take my cat to stay at grandma’s with me for a week while I was having work done in my house. He hid the entire time. He was so scared being away from home.

Next time, bring many things that smell like home with you, as best you can. The bed layer you sleep under and they sleep on, favourite bed, own litter box with a clump of their own pee in the clean litter. It’s still stressful for most cats to change location, but this really helps. If you can make a room that smells like home, it can be a comforting hideout or, depending on kitty and length of stay, a safe base of operations from which to explore and ultimately conquer the new terrain. Good luck 😊
