How big is the needle? How small is the camel?

Jesus continues in Mark's Gospel with His running theme. Live for God! It's really about that simple. But it isn't, is it?
For many of us this idea of putting God first in our lives really feels impossible. There are moments where we almost feel like we could do it. But almost is a letdown. It is difficult to run into our own limits.
The character in our reading for today does just that. He can't commit. He almost walked with Jesus. (What a missed opportunity if you think about that!) And so today even Jesus' disciples are concerned about their limitations. Jesus is clear. For us, getting things right is impossible. But for God- it is not!
May we know the call of Jesus today in our lives. We really only get one chance to live for God. Are you up for it? Make room for God in your life. Jesus call us all into His service.
