How Big is The Universe?
We begin at the familiar blue and green orb we call home and zoom out to explore the vastness of space. From the Moon, our closest cosmic neighbor, to the edges of the observable universe, prepare to be astonished by the sheer scale of everything that exists.
Travel with us as we venture past the Moon, understanding its distance in terms we can grasp. Witness the Sun, not just as a source of light, but as a milestone in the vastness of our solar system. We don't stop there; Mars, Neptune, and the outer reaches of our solar neighborhood await.
Discover the awe-inspiring distances to the Voyager 1 probe, the enigmatic Oort Cloud, and the neighboring star system of Alpha Centauri. As we sail through the Milky Way, understand our position in the grand scheme of things, where our entire history is just a whisper in the cosmic wind.
Our voyage takes us further, to the Local Group, Virgo Supercluster, and the staggering Laniakea Supercluster. We contemplate the Great Attractor's pull and our place in this immense heaven.
Confront the boundaries of the observable universe and ponder the mystery of what lies beyond. This video is not just a journey through space but a journey of perspective. Join us in marveling at the universe's grandeur and our humble place within it.

Then again we may very well be quite wrong. In the grand scheme of things we haven't been studying the vastness, infinite, incredible space long at all. They're still not even sure if the Big Bang even actually happened. By no means am I knocking the people that study all this, it's just that space/universe is soo grand and always throwing curve balls. But damn is it interesting!

@@k3yzw1zard79 A thousand apologies for my apparent error. I obviously misspoke, saying _"known"_ when I meant to say _"gnome"._ I can with confidence offer assurances that far be it from my intention that my submission above should appear to be referring to the varying speculative theoretical estimates of the age of our universe, based of course upon assigning a _"Zero"_ value to the point of singularity just prior to the big bang. Rather, I was referring to the age of gnomes, which is also somewhat speculative and therefore likewise open to ambiguous semantic epistemological nitpickery in regard to the application of the correct nomenclature within the current lexicon _(du jour);_ since there have been no reports of any records discovered thus far stating exactly when the very first gnome was observed on anyone's lawn. In conclusion, this should indeed serve to proffer a much needed reminder that contrary to the ubiquitous popular belief, _"Typo"_ was actually not the least known and often overlooked of The Marx Brothers.

If you say he died, then that means you accept he was Mortal? I absolutly agree with you on rest of your points that not a single one of us will enter heaven based on only works. We will only enter by the Mercy and Grace of Allah(The God). Jesus Christ(Pbuh) was indeed the way and light, and no one could attain salvation except by following him. So was Moses(Pbuh) before Jesus Christ(Pbuh). But now it is Muhammad(Pbuh) as the final Messenger.

Good question I have my own theory too. Infinite big! It is just room to fit stuff in. The universe is nothing else than a room, except it has no wall and goes on forever. It is about what is in space... stars, energy, galaxies with stars, planets, etc, and of course the 4 forces in the universe. Space does not expand, it is not a balloon. What is in space got away from what was in '' beginning'' when quantum matter got fluctuated to expand. By the way the first element what was produced was hydrogen and from that due to forces and energy all the other elements came out of it. In a nutshell

This video and others like it have this profound impact of emptying my mind, as if the ungraspable idea of the immensity of our universe is just too much to even begin to comprehend. And here we are, conscious beings on a tiny speck of a planet, thriving and evolving, endlessly curious about our own origins and what might be out there that we have yet to discover. It's moments like this that I wish I could live a few thousand years so I might potentially witness our first encounter with another life form as curious as we are and together take the next massive leap. Cheers.

It's funny to see this. I'm a temp office worker, and to be honest, I'm too old to give much of a shit anymore. A couple of weeks back, I had a gig at a publisher for scientific magazines. My boss, from the very first moment, didn't like me. She didn't like my Pink Floyd T-shirt or the way I worked. But I got the job done, and they needed me. Still, it drove her crazy, and she would approach me every day with a very fake friendliness, saying, "You do a great job, despite your chaotic work style." I didn't react at first. As I said, I don't give a shit. But one day, I had it, and with a big smile, I told her, "Out of the chaos, stars are born." I could as well have told her to go f*ck herself, and she knew it. But times are good for Temps right now. Lots of work, and a personal shortage. So she gasped, turned around, and didn't annoy me again. 😂

@@Hillary4SupremeRuler your comment was thought-provoking and full of wisdom. What if there's something beyond this material phenomena. Something immaterial. The idea that this universe emerged coincidentally seemed unconvincing. What was there before this universe, before big bang, etc. There's something far beyond this universe, something that don't have shape, color, sound, just 'nothing'. And I'm beginning to believe the existence of God. I think the idea that everything has a beginning only exists in this material world. We thought that everything has a beginning because that's the law(science) that governs this material phenomena and we mere humans just play by the rules just as we feel emotions etc.. Human minds can't possibly know everything that's why there's the ONE and that's how He is superior and He has no beginning nor ending.

A superb representation of our Universe. I am very impressed. I was privileged to have been contracted to the European Space Agency for the final 32 years of my working life. This is the best representation I have ever seen. It needs to be seen on every News Channel in the world. As Carl Sagan said every King, Emperor, Dictator, War Lord, that ever lived died on this pale blue dot’. Earth is significantly less than a grain of sand in the Sahara. I do wonder why the Great Creator of this magnificent vastness should feel inclined to alight of our tiny speck of dust to make MAN in HIS own Image.?????

I’m not sure the word “humbling” is quite an accurate description of earth’s place in the cosmos. To begin with, that black void you mention is really not a void, but dark matter and dark energy. This makes up 95 percent of the observable universe. All the stars, planets, and galaxies, etc. make up barely 5 percent of the rest. If it weren’t for this exotic black matter, the galaxies would tear themselves apart. It is like a “glue” that holds atoms, molecules, etc. together. We are so special in this universe because atoms are actually a rare occurrence. What is the dark stuff? No astrophysicist knows, but this “Universal Design” makes me feel quite special!

I love the expression “the observable universe.” Which means that all this space is accessible to the human conscience and mind. Which means that we are meant for something much greater than our little personal world. We are meant to be with God and to worship Him in all His glory. And His glory is well beyond the “observable universe.” How awesome is that?

I always thought I was crazy because i felt like i knew something I shouldn't. What i remember is my earliest memory, which was observing myself zooming through space. So fast that it would cause any living human to blackout from the overload and shock it creates on the consciousness when trying to upload to the brain, so incredible because the journey is incomprehensible and the impact upon reaching destination makes it seem like such a waste. I always thought I wasn't the only one with this kind of memory but until i started hearing people share what their most recent memory was, the furthest I heard of was past lives... I never found the words to comprehend this absurd memory I have until, adulthood. I don't even know how it is I can remember, in Motion by a millisecond that has traumatizing end and still somehow remember it like it's supposed to be important. To get a better idea, just watch a video of a telescope zooming into earth but instantaneously. Make sure you don't stop above the planet, zoom it directly into the crust until all you see it darkness.
