Really , One News is showing that Bihari Toppers are not able to Spell the names of there Subjects and on the other Hand you are Full of Praise of yur school...Are you sure that students from your school are really the topper materials..

Raja Ram C'mon...you can't use the same balance for each and every thing out there ! The 12th toppers (dubious) are from the same college(Vishun Rai) which had been in news lately for having 222 students with the same marks; and that reflects another case of corruption in education (as per the sting) While Simultala is a model school, which has a record of producing 30 toppers (in 2015) and 42 students in Top 10(this year class 10 results) .The students here, for your info., are the cream ones who have been selected after a 3 stage exam process-Prelims, Mains and Interview....so there's no doubt in the quality and the Merit of students ...which you questioned rather plainly ! And I being an alumna of SAV (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simultala_Awasiya_Vidyalaya) uphold that the students of the school are really the 'Topper Materials' !!

Dikshita Congratulation for begin the "cream" ...I have myself worked in Bihar in 2005 as an ,say "Analyst" for State Government Projects,hence i am quiet familiar with "Bihari Mentality" of Begin a "Topper".... I hope some day you get a chance to go and Study in Ivy League Colleges in US. You will find in students there a sense of humbleness , gratitude towards knowledge ,genuine feeling of Support towards fellow students ..I had hardly seen any student bragging about his Grades,Marks or achievements ,rather they would patiently wait for the opportunity to share there know-how or even better ,look at you with Curiosity for knowing something new from a stranger. I hope to hear more "crème de la creme" of Bihar like you ,use there talent for advancement of Science and Technology , rather then wasting there Talent by becoming IAS and IPS (or for that matter of fact ,any UPSC Jobs) ..Good Luck.

Your believed familiarity with "Bihari Mentality" and the comparison b/w US and India ...that you were not supposed to make....still, bragging and all don't go my way , nor does the context supports your inference-as my views were in general of an alumna's -who is grieved to see the impression of a particular news and stereotypes later, on people's minds. Now, Administration and scientific advancement go hand in hand ; one's progress leads to the profuse growth of the other, so joining the 'Civil Services' is in no way- "wasting" the talent ! Being there you can contribute towards many dimensions of society, one being Science and the related too.What career is eventually decided is purely an individual preference . It was nice to know your views gentleman and different opinions widen our outlook, that's it . All I believe is : Perspectives differ and that is what makes all the difference !
