Nonsense. We ALL learn English so we have a universal tongue. It's right for American's to take it for granted. It's rude not to speak a universal tongue when in mixed company. We all learned it so we CAN take it for granted that we have a common language.

In my family, we have a real Hawken rifle from the 19th century. I can assure you that Pedersoli guns may look and function the same as guns from 160 years ago, but with the modern processes and materials, they shoot rings around the originals.

What you said at the very end of the video is so true. Whenever you see other factory tours of firearms manufacturers, it is a very quick overview of things. This video is much more in depth and Mr. Pedersoli was not hiding anything. Great video and I own a couple Pedersoli products this just makes me want some more. A 44-40 lightning in the future possibly.

Most other "factory tours" are so noisy you can't hear anything anyone is saying, and almost everything is proprietary so you can't see it. Congrats to Pedersoli for sharing and I applaud their apprenticeship program. Thanks for the visit, good luck and God bless.

I just bought a 1841 Mississippi Rifle made by Pedersoli. I'v noticed a slight drop in quality. In 2012 I bought both a 1807 Harpers Ferry perc. pistol and a 20x20 Howdah pistol. They were fantastic quality. But my Mississippi Rifle had a few flaws. 1. The rear sight had a sharp metal burr on it. 2. The hammer fit is a bit off and scratches the color case hardened lock plate. 3. A pernounced scratch on the lock plate. 4. The front brass sight is not cut perfictly horizontaly, slight angle I must now file. Still I say Pedersoli is the best in the business.

@@bigredwolf6 That make me laughing too. In my opinion and from my experience, Pedersoli is priced to high for what they sell. In fact you pay way much than for an average brand but just for a little step up in quality, the majority of the price difference go into the name of the brand. Like for clothes or smartphones.

Fascinating and beautifully clear. Thank you. I have seen many of their products over here in the UK over my lifetime, and have always been intrigued and impressed with the way they produce so many different types for the repro market, keeping historical firearm ownership practical in all senses. They are new guns with a long life, but create excellent replicas of the originals, which in so many cases are far too valuable and fragile to continue to use. Keep up the excellent work!! It is a point of shame that on the whole, we do not speak Italian to the excellent standard of your English!!

I purchased a Pedersoli Pennsylvania flintlock rifle kit in .45 caliber (with Somerset, Pennsylvania patchbox) way back in 1996 from Dixie Gun Works, and most recently a caplock version in 2020. They were relatively easy kits to assemble, and reasonably priced. The caplock kit had a lot less wood on the stock compared to the earlier kit, and lacked a patchbox. However, this gives you some leeway in installing your own patchbox depending on the era. Very accurate rifle. I would highly recommend the kit, if you wish to build your own, they are a great way to get started in muzzleloading with a historically accurate firelock.
