He struggles to speak coherent sentences most times making up random words at times as well. Mans been brutally knocked out multiple times in the ufc god knows how many times in training. I felt sorry for him for a while for not having friends who could be honest with him. I got the suspicion that Joe hangs out with him partly out of guilt and you can tell that Brendan affects an overconfident persona to mask his suspicions about the same. As someone who hasn't been able to form lasting relationships or even friendships, I thought we were kind of similar in that we had a crippling fear of being abandoned, a fear of people inevitably getting bored of us and unceremoniously moving on. But then he got cocky and started talking shit about Ariel helwani, constantly hitting up the girls of his "friends" and I realized we are not the same. I have self-awareness, I have shame. I'm not the most fun or interesting person. Hell, I'm not even a nice person, but when it comes down to it, I KNOW that I'm a good man. Brendan cannot say the same.
