About this stealing topic: I'd rather look on intention rather then the result of theft thereafter. It's what was in your head when you thought of it, what you tried to achieve and what goal to accomplish. The guy who forgot to scan some product and somehow realised that when he's at home is not even remotely condemned as the guy who specifically went onto such mission. It's a concern what these individuals will bring into society (be it a big city full of random people, or a small settlement where everyone is familiar with each other). Well, if someone I know managed to steal a new PS5 from the official store, I couldn't be bothered.

Stealing in any form is wrong, but sometimes it just isn't that deep. There's a very hard to find line between desperation and greed. A homeless man stealing bread from a shop is desperation, and a chav stealing a £40 bottle of vodka is greed.
