My grandmother says that the secret of most Filipinos having good voices was because of what doctors and elders advised to parents having new born babies. And that is to make the babies cry for a few minutes every morning to build their lungs stronger which at the same time helps breathing when singing and with the help of our culture loving karaoke in every parties which is actually like a practice that we do without noticing. 😊

Us Filipinos have an incredibly good sense of adaptability when it comes to harmonizing And most importantly, the ability to mimic voices since a lot of us grew up loving and listening to music so much. We love music a LOT and it is a big part of our culture. I sing every night and have been told that I have a good voice. (Not so good compared to these people) but I guess I have a good passable high male voice.

Craziest thing is, we can not only sing English and Filipino songs, we can also sing other languages. The anime fans can sing the JP opening of their favourite anime perfectly. My entire class also got taught how to sing an entire Chinese song(none of us can speak chinese) properly in 30 minutes. We ended up killing it! People here can also sing Korean songs perfectly, and even Thai songs.
