How Can MPs In Jail Take Oath?

Newly-elected MPs from Punjab and Kashmir Amritpal Singh and Sheikh Abdul Rashid took oath as members of the House on Friday.
But why didn’t they do so with other winning candidates in the first session of Parliament? Because both radical Sikh preacher Amritpal and the Kashmiri leader popularly known as Engineer Rashid are in jail. They were brought out on parole for oath taking.
