Without Gods promises and his leash around Satans neck we would simply be doomed at the devils hands. He is literally one of the most (if not the second most) powerful and intelligent being in existence. We should be very sober indeed and rely on Christ only to resist him. Glory to God for not leaving us defenseless without his word and spirit! Our flesh has no chance against these kinds of ancient powers predating even the earth, possibly even the universe.

Sister, I went through a similar situation like you. It was only through the Holy Spirit that I was given the strength and grace to truly forgive . This video was very timely and explains just about everything that happened at my work and even with my family in the past two weeks. Trying to ignore it, people at my work turning against me, and an unfair game that makes me feel helpless. I've been sober minded in the past two weeks but I'm been trying to listen to MercyMe's new album that better days ARE coming. I do want to know that other Christians feel the same attacks at their work and even on TV in their own personal lives. I don't want to feel like the only one feeling persecution because I don't want to be conceited. I'm thankful John Piper is strong in the Word and that I've been following this channel.

same here, too tested in a trial and failed completely the test after walking decades closely with God, but got lazy and neglected my time with God, or reading my bible, and satan seized the opportunity and became depressed, fearful and anxious, and made a bad decision. Now suffering the consequences of my failure and so are my family because of my bad decision. Had a nervous breakdown because of my failure, satan wants me to believe that God is so fed up with me that I have failed again and could never love me because I have blown it so badly when I should have known better, but God has shown me only mercy and grace since and tells me that He still loves me. Despite satan's condemnation, Jesus has me covered. I am clinging to Jesus, and am covered by his blood. As a song says by Jason Gray a christian singer, Hallelujah, this is hell. I will still praise my God and satan hates that. Agree we have to stick satan in the face with the Word as Jesus did when tempted he told satan 'It is written thou shall not tempt the Lord they God.' Jesus didn't argue with satan or answer him other than God's word.

I've had stomach issues for a few months now including IBS which is causing me serious anxiety and stress. I've been focusing on resisting Satan diligently through these sufferings, reminding myself to trust in God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. I'm still struggling but I'm beginning to get past these stomach issues and I think God for his healing and patiently wait for the conclusion of these current troubles.

How is your stomach now? Brother, I've had very similar issues for over a year now and I'm just barely getting back to eating and drinking without intense pain and terror. God delivers us every time.

@@Hallowed_Ground Getting a lot better. Praise God! The anxiety and stress are tolerable now and I'm hoping and praying I'll be able to go back to work soon. I've cut back on caffeine and avoided beans so I don't upset my bowels even further because caffeine especially was doing the most damage. headaches from caffeine withdrawals were a pain but they're gone now and I'm feeling a lot better. I'm very blessed to have the opportunity to be off of work while I deal with this. I pray that God will deliver you from your struggles as well

​@@lexlucre9957 YES, definitely. I fought out um very sensitive to gluten and um allergic to a lot of things. I still have issues even now after almost 14 years on a gf diet. It's bc they have poisoned the crops with roundup. The seeds were genetically modified so that they were immune to it. The result is many people with severe digestive problems. One day the scientists will paying they don't repent and Monsanto and other manufacturers are made to shut down the production of this for crop spraying.

God all powerful can use the device's of Satan at any time for the good as a tool for our benefit, if we keep listening for his voice, he will guide us home. I imagine it's like a wolf that seeks to devour an injured lamb strayed from the flock ,fearful it would never make it because of it's injured leg, the little lamb just hid behind a boulder. The sheepherder is calling him all the while ready to bind it's wounds and carry him home if he would just cry out to him.

I’m all for standing strong in repentance. Trusting that God is good and in control. But if God is all powerful why is Satan allowed to do anything. Is to strengthen our faith our only answer? Why pay Satan any mind when its he that has to ask Him to sift anyone? What’s wrong with the response to God saying “why would you allow Satan to do this?” And the answer is to strengthen faith? What’s wrong with saying “well I think I have enough faith already, that’s enough now…”

God created Satan to tempt man. In fulfilling his mission he can be very harsh. In Job, Satan with God's blessing kills Job's wife. This as you know was to tempt Job to curse God. He did not. Satan unlike humans has no free will only God's will. So we need not worry what ever Satan does it is God's wish. Satan only acts upon God's will, he has no will of his own. Temptation is Satan's prime directive, even those who believe that he some how rebelled do not deny he faithfully continues his work for God.
