I just bought tickets to this game on Tuesday! I can't wait. Seahawks fan and Seattle native living in Springfield, MA!

What about finding a fullback? Triple threat: lead blocker, occasional runner, pass catcher.
@EvolutionaryE19 сағат бұрын
I’d prefer they use K9 and Charb in 2-back formations more.
@rig203718 сағат бұрын
Fullbacks are out dated. Nobody runs that old school stuff anymore.
@Toxyethanol14 сағат бұрын
Theyve basically been playing Brady Russell as a FB, he's listed as a TE but any FB-style player is basically a hybrid TE now
@RandyCreates9 сағат бұрын
Doing so brings the defense inward encouraging pass and run blitzes, better to spread out and utilize a TE. Best is have a decent Oline 🤣👀

@rig2037 Some teams are throwing it in today because it's not a bad strategy. Grubbs "New and updated" strategy is not working. Just because it was an old school strategy doesn't mean it's an inferior strategy. It's kinda like saying New cars and technology is much better when usually the new technology has many more issues and just suck.

They should use a fullback scheme.
@vincew392310 сағат бұрын
Use packages with both k9 and McIntosh on the field. Use more motion and misdirection to make the oline blocks easier. You know, spend time designing and practicing an easier run game than they’ve had. As opposed to running up the gut from shotgun all the time.

John gonna draft all o-linr this year watch ye knows what he has to do. He has been doing great with adjusting the roster and getting better players so the line will be fixed this year coming up.
@rig203718 сағат бұрын
Bradford and Tomlinson have been TERRIBLE the ENTIRE SEASON. Two of the worst offensive linemen we have ever had in Seattle, and on the same roster. They make Germain Ifedi look like a good player when he was a Seahawk compared to how Bradford and Tomlinson play.. just terrible
@douglasthompson948217 сағат бұрын
My honest opinion is play to your strengths. You don’t need everything, just very good in some things. Also the game against the Jets should be reasonably easy. Quick start is required for a 24-6 win.

And people complain about Geno throwing INT's and taking sacks when there are 7 players covering his 3 WR's and 1 TE.
@markcoleman736819 сағат бұрын
The problem with the run game is the interior guards ESPECIALLY Tommilson are missing blocks simply it will get better with Bradford and Willaims gone because they were the worst🎉 but also Charbenay is one of the worst blockers I have ever seen. He will just stand there and not block at all just watch him on film .

I wish Grubb would hear what you guys are saying… 😣 They really need to get this run game going and stop making Geno throw so much…

Can’t run when the line doesn’t block homie

It starts with the quarterback being a weapon in the air and on the ground. It's the reason so many mobile quarters are successful without the best o-line in the league. If you happen to be lucky enough to have a top tier o-line, than sitting in the pocket is warranted. Geno Smith needs to keep using his 34 year old legs until they run out of gas like Aaron Rogers. That will open up the field and keep them on their heels, maybe even have to devote a spy to watch the QB. Just the threat of him running can open up a lot of things, because the defense now has to guard for it, instead of only worrying about the receivers and the running backs. So, start scrambling, throwing on the run and extending plays, because the tougher teams await.

Why are we worrying about a running game when we seem to win without it and it not like the run game isn't effective did anyone realize how K9 broke 16 tackles in that Cardinal game .. We don't need no stinking run game now ...we just need to continue to play complimentary football ..it ain't broke right now .
@Toxyethanol15 сағат бұрын
Do you want to make the playoffs and win? Do you want to become a dominant offense? If the answer is yes then we need to fix the run game. Playing 1 dimensional offense is a recipe for sitting on the couch in Jan/Feb and watching other teams win championships.

@Toxyethanol football is more mental than you think
@Toxyethanol14 сағат бұрын
@@61Wolves So lets not eliminate half the playbook and give defenses less to think about? Not trying to dunk on you here my fellow 12, but we have the 29th ranked rushing offense a 6-5 record and just came off losing 4/5 games. Its obviously a problem. If we were 9-2 like the Eagles (ranked 1st rushing) or 10-1 like the Lions (ranked 4th) then at least I could agree that we are winning without it. It at least needs to be a threat to make defenses think about it.

@@Toxyethanolwe ran 40% the last 3 games as McDonald obviously told Grubb we need better balance, I would run 30% unless ee have a lead, and we need more motion
@61Wolves7 сағат бұрын
@Toxyethanol I don't shy away from criticism so when I watch Seahawks football I guess I don't watch like the average fan .I'm looking for mental confidence the physical confidence.when we were winning we didn't necessarily have the greatest offense in the league we just had dawg and loads of confidence .it's happening again.

Go back in time fire John and get a gm that will actually invest in the o line.. and no John getting 100 4th day 3 million guards is not investing.. using only 3rd rd and lower on o line is NOT investing in the o line.
