First of all this is the first video of you that i have seen and i love it. But second of all the thing with Rivals in my opinion is that as the game growns there will be more players and more fans of obscure hero/villain fans that will want there favorite person to be in the game. So it will be a double ended sword type deal for them. To add some obscure characters that the fans want to see and play or ignore the fans and add characters as they want. I dont know how to feel about this situation, but i like the game and i like your video

I’m really intrigued on how the roster will look like in a year after release.

@@SenseiRocks well for me i hope that they dont release to many characters in a single year so that all there character get some love and can be fun to play. I havent played Rivals, but from the start i think that they may be over doing it already. I mean Cap and Bucky at the same time, Dr. Doom and possibly Wolverine and Deadpool. I think they are gonna "fall in to quicksand". I mean superheros/villains is one thing but then you have the mutants, the celestials like sentry or some one like black bolt

I would like to see Quicksilver with a similar kit to Hermies from smite, Blob, Kingpin(as a melee tank) or Tombstone( as a ranged tank), and if they add something like confusion as a status effect that would be a great time to add the Enchantress

They will have to be extra creative with the "strategist" role because the Marvel universe don't have too many of those, which is interesting in perspective, you would imagine the concept of a "healer" is the perfect cliche for superheroes (after all, they are saving people), but nope, 99% of the characters just punch the problem, explode buildings and save the day (DC is no different). Also, I believe they will not pick fan favorites such as Nightcrawler because Spider-Man and Star-Lord already cover the role of a hard to hit flanker, so they will try other gimmicks... which sucks, rather have similar characters who are likeable instead of forcing, idk, some obscure Marvel character like Warstar as the new tank (I know Magik is kinda "obscure" as well and she looks great in Snap and Rivals, but that most likely is a exception than the rule)

Yea😂, I imagine they will try to make characters that are not known as healers and make them heal when they’re not known for doing that (Luna snow,adam) (Although he has the cocoon I don’t recall him healing others but I could be wrong) So yea they have to be creative or we will have 200 tanks, 400 Dps’s , and 10 Supports😂. But i also agree with the point that some niche characters probably won’t be well received as others so they have a lot of obstacles to look for

You know, I would really love to see Juggernaut. Mvc collection really reminded me how much I love that character and I think he would be super fun to see again, especially in his classic fit or whatever the rivals team would do to him, I feel like they have no misses for costume design so I'd be excited either way.

The devs said in a interview that they want to balance the roster as 70% popular characters and 30% lesser known characters. So the roster will definitely be interesting!

I had a chat with some friends and we made a ideia. If they gonna put 2 characters that are too similar, then put them in different roles. Like Venom and Spider-Man, both characters are high-mobile, can crawl freely in walls and have Web-swing, but since Venom are a Tank and Spider-man is a DPS, they have different approaches, Venom wants to get as many people's attetion at once, going All-In, and Spider-Man wants to go for flanks, targeting the supports and isolates DPS, Hit'n'Run style. Peni Parker is also a Spider-man (kinda), but her gameplay is way different of the previous 2, instead of being high-mobile, all-in or hit'n'run style, she takes a deffensive and space coverage style by using her webs and mines. If they put Miles in the game, we thought would be better for him to be a support, using his electricity not to damage enemies but to buff and heal allies, have his invisibility as a escape tool (similar to loki's), and maybe his wall crawl could be limited like Peni Parker's for balance reasons. They could add Carnage as a DPS and Anti-venom as a Support, but it really comes with a question. How many Spider-people should be in the game? How many X-Men? How many Avengers? For me, Miguel O'hara and Ben Reilly don't add nothing gameplay wise, then they should be skins. Can Spider-Gwen be her own character? Probably, but I have no idea what she would do different from Peter. Can Red-Hulk be his own character? Maybe... Can War-Machine be his own character? If they make him a Tank... maybe... It really comes of how the devs will approach theses characters. One character that I really want in the game is the Taskmaster, but how they gonna implement him if his role gimmick is copy others fighting style? He cannot become them, Loki already does that. Maybe he only copies their auto-attaks? Idk. Let's see what future holds

I actually really like you all’s idea! that could work and to your question, I’m really interested to see how they tackle roster spots and how they are spread out amongst avengers,x-men, guardians , F4 , Illuminati , The list goes on😂! taskmaster would’ve worked really well with the loki ultimate (Also I think the clones ability or something like it would’ve worked well with mysterio) But an idea that just came to me (I don’t think it’s that good of an idea) is that he can use abilities of characters that won’t make the game, for example, he has a shang chi-like dive kick or he has silver samurai’s blades(just named the first character’s that came to my head😂)

The only clue, which characters will appear in Marvel Rivals, is from the story. We have to pay attention to the game lore. From there we can get clues about which characters will appear.

You’re right! I didn’t read many of the character Bio’s but I remember in the Mantis bio, Jeff and Psylocke escaped with her and eventually jeff was announced and now in the game

Ghost rider could use his chains like roadhog in overwatch, and his ultimate can be him driving around his car like when bastion turns into a tank, I’ve seen ghost rider use a sawed off shotgun before

I believe that there gonna be good skins but if the devs pay attention hulk and red hulk aren’t the same sure they’re big Goliath giants that are strong both work in different unique even abomb and I feel like yes not ever spider man is the same but I get they gotta make money but at least like spider 2099 miles work very different and can be used completely different

miles also can turn invisible which is something cool for his potential kit. A dev also said something about carnage I'm pretty sure a symbiote dps would be fire maybe he could shift weapon types or something as an ability .also bro has a hard time articulating his thoughts 😭
