Aww, I love this!! And I'm so proud of you both! I didn't tithe for most of my life because I just couldn't see how I could and still make ends meet. But then I heard a preacher say to just start with what you can, it didn't have to be the whole 10%! I felt so dumb because I felt like if I couldn't pay exactly 10%, then I was wrong with any other amount. So I started paying like $10 and really trying to pay some bills off (credit cards), just STOP using them and as I got the payments down or paid off, I paid more until I could pay the 10%. I know that's a long story, but maybe it will help someone else who feels they just can't do it. For sure, "God will meet you where you are"! ❤❤❤

Wow 10% is quite a lot, especially for a family with 6 kids. I’m not religious but I’m glad you’re able to find what works for you. Make sure you also look after yourself too! It did feel like you do a lot, maybe too much, for God, your church, your husband, your family, your friends, your community and your kids, but it didn’t sound like you didn’t mention what you do much for yourself.
