Hi LSE team...I have a question. In summer season in many countries of South Asia, Middle East and South East Asia...the Heat becomes Unbearable. This year in 2024 in many places the heat crossed over 48°C in Pakistan and India. Even it reached 52°C in some areas of India n Pakistan. And that's the air temperature...the surface temperature reached 60-62°C during noon. So basically between 11AM - 6 PM heat becomes unbearable in summer season. I get it...we dont stay in public places in scorching heat. But in evening after 5 PM people comes out or wants to come out to outside to enjoy life or to walk around or for shopping or whatever. So my question is HOW to design public places in such areas?? Specially for Pakistan, India and Oman. I know Oman is not in South Asia...but it is nearby. Can you answer. Also dont forget there is humidity ,desert condition in some parts and climate change. Abundance greenery is required I know...what else more can be done??
