@@jordantwindsor thank you! I was also wondering because I saw that in the curriculum the time when you take step 1 and step 2 are relatively close to each other, is there a flexibility of when you can take step 2 if you know you want to match into a competitive specialty?

@@luvaargas the calendar on our website isn’t super accurate showing when you can take step 2. We make you take Step 2 within 12 weeks of finishing your rotations. So if you finish rotations at the end of November, you have until the end of February to take step 2. It’s plenty of time especially since step 1 has a lot of overlap. We try to have students take it earlier on so you can get your score back before you apply for away rotations so you can help that guide where you apply for those
