Howdy Y'all!
In this video we're going to be discussing Capcom, and how some of their games have impacted me through the darkest times in my life. I made this video in hopes of helping others going through similar situations in their own lives. Addiction is a terrible thing, and no one can truly prepare for the woes it can bring upon a family. But each day is a blessing, and another opportunity to better ourselves and the people around us. I know this is different from anything I've ever done before, but I hope it finds you all well. And please feel free to reach out to me personally or in the comments, if you have your own similar topics you'd like to discuss. I'm always here to do my best for you guys! Until next time, please take care. And I hope to see you in the next video!

I Love Capcom Too But What Really Pulled Me out of dark times at least In my case was The FX Network see growing up I was a massive Fox Network guy but years after I've gotten Basic Cable FX became one of my go to's for entertainment I loved films like Fight Club Buffy The Vampire Slayer (1992) Solo The Corruptor Beowulf and My Super Ex-Girlfriend as for shows there was Buffy The Vampire Slayer (1997-2003) Spin City The Practice Rescue Me Nip/Tuck Archer and Unsupervised which I watched on Adult Swim but still made by FX though with reruns of King Of The Hill Malcolm In The Middle That '70s Show and The Bernie Mac Show this channel really came through during my time of need

I really relate to this video heavily. As a kid-my teen years I played video games a lot to cope with things. My dad was very in and out, I seen violence early as a kid, and I had to watch my single mother struggle to raise me and my brothers while battling her mental issues. I felt useless at times yk cause there wasn’t much I can do, but video games was like a warm blanket for me. I got to escape in other worlds and stories, act out as my fav wwe wrestlers, build worlds in minecraft, etc etc. it was also how I bonded with my older brothers we would play Naruto clash of ninjas 2, Mario party 4, scooby doo, ssx tricky, etc etc. sadly tho I was separated from my brothers for years my mom couldn’t handle raising all of us so she sent them to live with their dad it wasn’t easy for me I was 5 at the time but the 2nd oldest gave me his game boy so I was always connected to them in some way. But yea video games were my comfort thru rough times sometimes I still kick back and play my 360 and ps2 when things start to get overwhelming and after good hour I’m just in a better mood

Thank you for sharing that story with all of us. I know being vulnerable on the internet is a hard thing to do, but I really do appreciate you for being so open and honest. You've been through so much, but you're a good person at the end of the day, and that counts for a lot. I remember when I was 15, I was bullied every single day in school because of the way I looked, and I, too, had issues at home. During this time, I turned to Metal Gear Solid 2, and, honestly, without that game, I wouldn't be here today. Not only did it provide me with a world to lose myself in, but I was also aware of the fan backlash towards Raiden, and that made me resonate with him even more. Everybody hated him, and everybody hated me, so I felt like we were kindered spirits. I don't care what anyone says about Raiden. That lad did me a solid (no pun intended) many years ago. It was an incredibly dark time that kicked started my depression at a time when I didn't have a grasp on what depression is. MGS2 gave me so much solace during that time. That game saved my life, and I've always wanted to meet Kojima san, so I can thank him for that. But yeah, this video spoke to me on a deep and personal level. I respect you for being so candid, and I appreciate everything you do. Much love, my friend.
@Vynsent

That’s beautiful man 🥲 And I’m a big raiden fan myself! Very glad that you were able to find some comfort in those dark times, and I hope those terrible things that people said were able to be left in the past. Judgements are subjective, and only unhappy people will poke fun at others because of their own shortcomings. You’re the bigger man at the end of the day! God bless my friend, and very glad I could bring you some relatable content ❤️😁

@@Vynsent The things those people said to me at the time cut so very deep. I've mostly got it under control now, and I only learned how to love myself about 8 years ago. I'll be honest and say those old demons do still take hold of me from time to time, but that's just a part of life. You take the rough with the smooth and just try to be the best person you can be, demons be damned. To quote Max Payne: "There are no rules, no secret mantra, it's all chaos and luck." Big love to you, my man ❤

Capcom went from being tied as the best developer up there with the likes of Square & Konami to a shadow of its former self, and that's even before it went woke, because even Street Fighter 5 was just poorly designed and kinda lazy. Their PS3 era had some issues but was still good, and everything prior was pure gold. RIP.

I've been playing Resident Evil all my life but what they did with the current three remakes is starting piss me off. RE2 has inconsistent story and both scenarios plays out the same, RE3 was dog shit, RE4 has a boss and levels from the original that they slapped on a $10 DLC, and charging people for original music. I would not pre-order another RE game. I was hyped for all these remakes, but it's one God damn disappointment after another. RE4 was the least but still a disappointment.
