Well. I am just happy to live in this generation and have the opportunity to watch both, Messi and CR7. Both are incredible and still, i don't think you can compare Messi and CR7, how could you? They play in different positions, they play different play styles, have different body types and use their body different. Messi ist kind of a play maker and dribbler (sorry, doed this word exist?) with and incredible killer instinct. CR7 is more allround, he is faster and can use his height combined with his jumping ability to be deadly in the air. Barcelona and Real Madrid play different as well, RM uses crosses and long passes to get in behind and if there is no space, they play tiki taka until there is space. Barcelona nearly never crosses and tries to combine fast forward and try to use the speed of Messi for example. One thing they have in common: both are warriors and RM and FCB are pretty average without them.
