My laptop runs on AC, but it doesn't detect the battery anymore and therefore it cannot charge it or switch to the battery when disconnected from the mains and visa versa, the battery itself is still good. My laptop is an Aspire E-15 ES1-571 model and would like your advise on what to check and which components might be the problem, how to go about troubleshooting and where to find the components to replace the faulty ones.

When there is no Adapter and no voltage pass through PQ5002 from Battery then how EC controller will be energezied and D/C# will generate HIGH signal ? Can you explain ?
