:( ChatGPT sometimes hallucinates when it comes to the PlantUML code. It’s best to copy your prompt and open a completely new chat. That often works better than trying in the same chat. Let me know if you have had any luck :)!

Unfortunately BPMN is a difficult one because the position where elements are placed are important. GPT is actually able to create a bpmn in text but unfortunately not yet with drawings. ps. What do you mean by BPMN in text? Don't you already have the scenario in text that you submit to chatGPT? Are there any improvements in that area since your last comment? I'm also interested in gaining time drawing bpmn diagrams.

@@ir3670hey there it took a while to respond. I wanted to give all new AI applications a try that create diagrams before responding. unfortunately all the available BPMN GPTS are not good enough. I have tried nearly everything on the market. The problem is that the GPT model needs to generate XML in which swimlanes and tasks have a position. The AI cannot determine this position. What I mean with textual is possible is, that when you ask chatGPT to describe to you a BPMN drawing, it can tell you which swimlanes would be used and what the process within the swimlanes should look like. So if you want to learn what processes look like, you can still use AI, but you will have to draw it yourself (for now)

Not working for me keeps putting the whole UML diagram horizontal not vertical when it does manage to get it vertical then there are other issues.

You probably want this to be automatically right the first time, but you can actually ask ChatGPT to draw it horizontally. It actually is one line of PlantUML to achieve it :)

Oh, that’s strange.. well you can always try a different PlantUML editor like planttext www.planttext.com these work well too! You can then download the image as png or svg:) hope this helps!

Thanks! Journey mapping is another really interesting analysis tool to show the touch points of customers with your product or service. These are often used by Marketing dep. To make improvements. The use case diagrams are often used by Business Analysts and Architects to display functionalities or actors before the product is built. And later as a reference of what has been built:)!

Sometimes it helps to ask ChatGPT to fix the code. I always restart the whole conversation to retry. It looks like ChatGPT is getting worse on VBA. I will do a video on Code interpreter soon (paid version) and will check if the output is any better

I have replied to you email, hope it helps. Often you just need to adjust the prompt in a way as if you are explaining someone else what you are doing. So starting with a prompt like: can you turn this flow into a use case diagram will already have ChatGPT think about the actors functionalities etc. And then once that is complete, ask ChatGPT to provide you PlantUML. Depending on the model (GPT4 or free version 3,5) you will get different responses. If the response is bad, create a new chat and paste what describes the assignment the best. It is often better than doing all in the same chat
