The Ocean Cleanup is a greenwashing operation funded by the plastic industry and the worst plastic polluters on the planet, e.g. Coca Cola. They haven't cleaned up anything in the ocean in all those years, despite receiving billions of funding and are completely ignoring that the plastic pollution in the ocean is way below the ocean surface and can't be collected by their plans. And let's not forget their PR stunt, where they shipped plastic from the land out onto the sea, so they could create a fake promo-video of them picking up gargabe from the ocean. Don't fall for their lies, the only way to clean up the ocean is to stop producing more plastic waste - which is the exact reason why the plastic industry keeps funding The Ocean Cleanup, so people feel like someone else is taking care of the problem and the plastic industry can keep their profits.

Also, how does the cost compare with the interceptors?
