That would suggest an idea about the people of France being better than the rest of the world. France was building a nuclear reactor for Iraq until it was destroyed by an Israel airstrike as it was expected that Saddam did not want nuclear to go green but to have its own deterrence against Israel's nuclear program. To curtail weapons of mass destruction proliferation in the middle east would require Israel to give up its nuclear deterrence, otherwise, neighbors will always feel the need to level the plain field and there will be always someone willing to help these countries protect themselves for a reasonable amount of cash, whatever it will be North Korea, Pakistan or China, even if western greed would be kept at bay, which is rather questionable...

Why no mention of Saddam's use of Chemical weapons on Iranis. Saddam was the Darling of the West at the time, because he was attacking Iran.

@@ENDEVRDocs No Sir, this clip is about Iraqi Kurds killed by Saddam. Before this, Saddam used Chemical weapons to halt Iranian Forces retaking their lost territory. There were thousands of Iranian Soldiers casualties. When Iran raised the issue in UN, everyone turned a deaf ear. Iranian forces killed by chemicals was no problem for all the world. This is perhaps what emboldened Saddam to use Chemical weapons against Iraqi Kurds. See the UN records.
