It's not a remake tho. The original Kocmoc layout isn't supposed to be a "New Slaughterhouse" and, in the end, it is just a copy/level that takes a lot of inspiration from SH. And don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Kocmoc is bad, I love the decoration, but we all know the gameplay is really unoriginal.

for me... kocmoc is just slaughterhouse but not hot garbage. Actually- I think the level is awesome. The deco is amazing, it has a great theme, it's not a trash hell level. Just... look at it. It looks fcking amazing. Cherry Team really know what they are doing. The song is really awesome too in my opinion. And yeah, thank god it's "only" a top 10. Not everything has to be the next hardest level. Its great that ot focuses more on being good rather than being the hardest sh!t ever. Yeah, take notes icedcave. Thats how you make a good level. CherryTeam just doesn't miss tbh. They know what they are doing.

Slight correction: KOCMOC originally got popular on Vernam's channel, where he basically added a few effects and a giant extreme demon face in the thumbnail. The KZbin algorithm threw this at everyone's faces, and since a lot of russian kids were coming to the community from tiktok (I also came around that time but not from tiktok), they found this very clickable and watched the thing. They liked how it's very intense and the song has russian words, and now it sits at 3.1M views, 4 times ahead his 2nd most viewed vid ok bye

One of the most memorable parts in this level are the transitions between parts (which is something 99,9% of the times TERRIBLE which makes every megacollab worse). They're really well executed, specially the part between the last wave and the slow cube part at the end (it was actually mind-blowing to me when I first saw it) For a few moments, I got to admit that I was disappointed when they nerfed it to a Top 10, but then I thought that it would be better and more enjoyable for everyone… I mean, for those players that beat extreme demons with their eyes closed

Idc what anyone says, but Slaughterhouse is far better than Kocmoc. Kocmoc is too messy and clustered in a bad way. Levels like Underground and Neutra did a great job cuz they look so much more intense and interesting, while Kosmoc is just random stuffs flashing and moving around. At least SLH did an amazing job of what the level is supposed to do.

Agreed. Kocmoc has its good parts and it’s bad parts. The drop is pretty cool but it’s the parts later in the drop that just look ugly, they’re just over the top and messy, with some blocks even lacking detail and looking kinda empty. The pre drop and post drop are ok, not particularly interesting.

kocmoc is still a pretty mid level, I think the last wave looks really good but apart from that the level isn't very coherent and it's way too overdecorated and messy. also the structuring looks so wrong, especially with the spam parts. the gameplay is mid everyone agrees but at least try do something with it, it's like the decorators wanted to decorate any other level

I can see some similarities with nc style-at start everyone built same, but with few changes and later community started to use style as base, building something great. Hallucination is a nc level but it doesn’t feel as nc clone. Kocmoc is a sh level but it is not a sh sequel.

I wanted the level to be Top 1 because it's alot better looking then every past one and usually Top 1's "represent" the community and this would be a amazing level to show the game and playerbase capabilities, most good upcoming Top 1s usually get nerfed (or are unclear if they're still being worked on) while the boring ones are usually the ones people verify I get there's this hate around Top 1s now but wouldn't those people just want one very good Top 1 and have it stay there so that people wouldn't care as much to get a new one and people can now be satisfied with a good one? Because while I like Acheron we can have a way better Top 1
