For me, China is a much bigger threat and competitor for India in comparison to any other country in the world, not just because China shares a boundary with India but also because China acts as a direct alternative to India for investors and other major economies.
Even after such direct competition with India, we are not able to balance our trade relations with China. We have consistently increased the overall trade deficit with China.
