I live in China and i can attest to this…The Chinese people are one of the most hardworking (a level of hardwork no country in the world will be able to match up to trust me) and kind hearted people you will ever meet. The subways are peaceful and quiet too. People rarely accept handouts and even the elderly will seldom accept a lot of money from you if you offered an extra tip when you bought groceries from them.

That man on the high speed train would not have been able to get past the ticket check without a ticket. The only other reason could be that he was already on the train but had gone past his original stop and had to pay extra. Vids of the rural people are old and the government does not hide their existence. As for the government changing the traditional language and culture. That is blatantly false. It is still used and even taught in schools and promoted on media sites and through cultural events.

@@Reinhard96 Where do you get that claim from? My Wife speaks Cantonese and is treated just fine. I live/work in a mainly Cantonese speaking province and the treatment of the people are the same as other provinces. My students, ages 5 to 16 also speak Cantonese outside the classroom and even some teachers do the same.
