the 4th tip is Phenomenal. A lot of coaches be teaching to keep the foot dorsiflex, and that really messed up my push off and my turnover. nothing wrong with the "spike plate facing the sky"

@@doudleyJ yes sir! Teaching an effective push off has made a big impact on a lot of athletes! 💯💪🏻

Great video! Theres a lot to be learned from any elite sprinter, I especially like how you used Coleman for the reasons you mentioned average limb lengths/height but on a separate note I’d be very interested to see you do an in depth analysis of Asafa Powell (as he is on my top three favourites) and what the average sprinter can take from his form/mechanics like you did in this video.

@@jonahwantenaar2652 okay I am glad you enjoyed it. I just use Coleman’s acceleration and many of the things Coleman does carry over into a variety of sprinters

Christian Colemany actually has quite long legs in relation to his torso.

he really does

@@gothops2632 yeah really all sprinters have longer legs but in comparison I feel like his are closer to average.. There is not much information on athlete’s leg length.

Great video again! You mention point 4 often but I don’t actually know how to achieve this. Could you make a video on how to achieve a high heel recovery, where the spike plate points to the sky - maybe along with some drills? This would be really helpful 👍

@@Runlovelive10 okay I like that. The main thing I do is butt kicks and really emphasize the foot/ankle movement

Asafa powell is who needs to be studied not coleman. Colemans mechanics need work.

@@djxcel23 probably at top speed. Yeah Asafa’s technique would be good to take a deeper look at
