Coc is f2p at all townhall It's just pay 2 progress fast at higher townhall but the new update just might tackle that issue too coz the walls were the big obstacle and with the new looting %age from collectors and storages being increased it will slightly pull back from pay 2 progress

Supercell is better than it was in the past but being better also comes with few drawbacks like how unfair the equipments would be for new players. But now it looks like sc is trying to give new players also a chance to get the equipments for free and hope they'll bring these types of event in the future too. The decorations and scenery being overpriced can also be a thing but at the end of the day it's just cosmetic and doesn't affect the game that much.

That's why the complexity is drip fed becoming more complex each town hall. If TH16 was just as complex as TH8 the game would be dead. It is natural for any game to become more complex as you progress to higher levels.

The simplicity is still there. You don’t really need complex strategies until like th11. And by then you might aswell start actually learning how to get good at the game since you’ve invested so much time into it. And when you get that deep into the game, the gameplay starts becoming really slow and these added events and villages add a new spark to it

Hero equipment has given so much more life to the game. Gave people way more to do and reasons to War/attack more. Added more strategy and options for offense. Like the game WAY more now. Just need to slow down on the nerfs.

I start to play coc in 2014 and max th you can upgrade was level 10, I heard it was level 8 before that. I always adore people with th10 that time and be like wow must be hard to achieve that😂...everything was lava That was one of the best time because after school me and my friend will prepare strategy for war. Everyone were very serious like it was a real business, we fight, we argue, we laugh and all. Soon later, I finished my school and everyone got buzy with their lives like work...go to college etc. After that, we rarely met again and the 20 people in the clan were all silent. I left it in 2015 but then last week I opened it back again and read the last clan chat was 3353 days ago😢 Good ol days, time flew so fast man. Some of my friends already have 3 kids. So cherished these times and appreciate those you love because you'll never get the same chance it again.

I lost my main id in 2020 which I was playing since 2017, and i dropped the game as at higher townhalls it felt repetitive. But now in 2024 i installed the game again and i have the same love for the game i had in 2017. Its only been 3 days starting it again but im all for it ❤️❤️

Things haven't gone as I wished in the last 12 years since I started clash but I got a degree finishing another one. Will be graduating a couple of years later than anticipated but I had to deal with poor mental health due to different circumstances. Still it's a tough subject (aerospace eng) and I didn't put in half the effort I should've. Will do better once I get a job. It's been a long journey, clash has always been there even in the years i quit (I'd always come back for a week or so during xmas)
