Hi Dan! Again, a very JIT and useful topic! Many thanks for all you do!!! I've been watching your vids for over a year now and they help me a lot deepening my knowledge of the site peocesses, hurdles and state of the arts- to me your videos are priceless! Talking about data, i've always been very curious to know how a DBL is occuring at site level, like ...who is answering all the queries, what if the PI has competeting DBLs, what if the DBL is amidst August or End of December, etc. ? You CAN record directly into EDC/eCRF and use that as source data. Look up Guidance for Industry Electronic Source Data in Clinical Investigations. There are examples in there where vitals are recorded directly in the eCRF vs when a CI receives a diagnostic result from a Radiologist and enters the info into the eCRF.
