I'm still trying to figure out your math. 200 x 200 = 40,000 not 4,000 200 + 200 = 400 40,000 ÷ 400 = 100. So if 4,000 ÷ 400 = 20. What were you guys drinking, oh wait you were all fixed on justin twisting rod lol

What do you think about braided springs like that are used in higher end guns? Would be able to be translated to the car world?

They are great in small clearance applications but don't typically have the travel or enough rate for off road use. But they really are cool

I remember an episode of american chopper when i was a kid and they used a hyperco carbon fiber or composite spring on a bike. Do carbon composite springs have any advantage for bigger off road springs? I think it was a stack design rather than a coil.

They’re advantage is weight. Disadvantage is cost and lack of travel. The cost of a carbon spring would be way out of touch. In the neighborhood of half the cost of your UTV. Not worth the weight advantage.
