Ending 10th grade with online school due to coronavirus. I feel so unprepared because I still don’t know what I want to do when I grow older especially with online school slowing my thinking down. I don’t want to stress over money as well, but I guess that’s the start of me becoming an adult. I’m kinda scared..

You explained scholarship in easy words, thanks to you i can now look in to scholarships easliy however the example you gave was quite easy to understand but i have a question, What if you got a 20,000$ scholarship and like you said in the example, 15,000 will be all paid but what would happen to 5000$ that were left? Will that money given to me (like cash or check) ? Or will it be taken from me?

A study a few years ago indicated multi millions of $ scholarship goes unused. The obvious sources are worked of course. However, there are specialized scholarship. Example a wealthy woman with red hair set up a multi-million fund for (of course) redheads. Many of these types of programs exist but it takes research. Service organizations such as Kawains, Rotary and so many more give small amounts $300 to $500 to worthy candidates if you ask. A group of these organizations gave me $ to support a summer European study program I earned between my JR/SENIOR year. Gotta hunt, gotta get off the beaten path and gotta present your case all while staying hydrated. Some good books available at LIBARY or local bookstore. Picking up couple extra thou a year is very helpful. Starting the search by end of HS sophomore year gets those ready to grind the most $$$.

This video was super informative and helpful! However, I still have some questions. Can you receive multiple smaller scholarships? Is there a limit to how many scholarships you are able to receive? What are good ways, other than contacting the college directly, to find scholarship opportunities? How does it work if you haven't applied or been accepted to a college yet? I've seen scholarship opportunities that are open to those who aren't even in high school yet, do I have to worry about someone in middle school having a better chance at receiving a scholarship than I do? Do you need to have an exact plan for what you want to do before applying for scholarships? It'd be great to get answers to a few, if not all of these. Thanks for the informative video. -a girl terrified of her high school senior year.
