Originally, the band was called Alice Cooper. The singer eventually changed his name to Alice Cooper. He has been doing this since the 60's and is still going strong. Definitely worth a deep dive - you will probably recognize some of his songs when you hear them, because they have been in movies & such. Check out "Vengeance is Mine", "Billion Dollar Babies", "Gutter Cats VS the Jets"

Check out his legendary 70s stuff, too. "Ballad of Dwight Fry", "The Black Widow", "Only women bleed", "I never cry" and "Elected" are only a few great songs of his huge catalogue. Be sure to watch a live performance or an original music video because his performances are VERY dramatic and theatrical. His motto is Vaudeville + Horror + Humor. There are songs that are just fun to listen to, but some of them also contain very serious topics, e. g. "Only Women Bleed", "Hey Stoopid", "Wicked Young Man" or "Pick Up The Bones".
