Alicia Keys did a version she actually released as a single a while back (her earlier career). No it’s not as good as the original (or this for that matter) but I think it brought a lot of younger people to the awareness of the song, for better or worse :)

Wow... Her voice is so effortless. No notes are safe from her voice. She has so much more in the tank vocally. She was definitely born to do this. Normally I despise Prince covers. More often than not people butcher them. I didn’t like Alicia Keys cover of this song, and Prince gave her his blessing. This cover is awesome 😮 the musicianship is excellent! The way the keyboard player looks at the singer as she hits that note says it all.
