Most speeches are based on dreams. Few are based on Truth

I made a huge career/life change last year at the age of 36 and moved from the US to Oslo, Norway, without any job lined up. I was super nervous, it was scary, but slowly I found my way, getting a job with a startup after a month, and then one month ago getting a job with my dream company in my dream field. Don't own a home, or a car, or have a girlfriend, but I have a completely new list of life possibilities in front of me, and that is oh so exciting.

Wow! At first I wasn't sure what to think when he started off. I even wondered if this was real. Then he not only turned a page, but leaned into it. He nailed it. This was brilliant. Simply brilliant.

The best and worst thing about life is that absolutely everything can change in a split second. There is nothing more liberating than having the carpet pulled from underneath you and having to just grit it out and make it work. Life is a beautiful, terrifying journey. But it's a JOURNEY. So pack your favourite water bottle and your comfiest shoes and just get out there and live it. And develop that scar tissue that will make you resilient to all that comes your way ❤.
