People are forgetting something about the Caleb Williams situation. He is first off, a rookie and that can’t be forgotten. Second, I think he was far too hyped up in the preseason and I’m talking about all the way back at training camp. Third, he is playing for an organization that has never had a 4000 yard passer in their history. Their last great QB was in the 1930’s and since then they haven’t had any solid success with QB’s. Which leads me to this, he is a rookie QB who has to come in and create that culture of excellent QB play. He doesn’t have a great QB to look at in his teams history, that’s a hard situation to come into. I think he is a bit overhyped, and the expectations are too high for him in this scenario. Give him time and he might get better, but expecting greatness from year one let alone 2 games is too much.
