It's fascinating since regular healing and regeneration is basically a controlled form of cancer. As your body gets a frickin panic attack and cells start dividing like crazy. And cancer IS basically just broken healing, as the cells just refuse to go back to nornal mitosis speed when the healing is done.

Could you explain why you get a blister when you burn your arm? 🔥🔥🔥
@azaankhan549510 күн бұрын
some damage is a lot for your body to handle. so at one point, the body cannot handle replacing all the dead cells that get burnt off. so the body pulls of a last ditch effort, by containing all the fluid that would have let an infection spread through your arm. this fluid which is contained around a strong barrier of white blood cells and collagen and fibroblasts, is called a blister. if u wanna learn more, look up "chronic inflammation"

the anime Cells At Work taught me the best. it also made me rethink how i treat my body cells at work is about cells living in the body, and how they interact with the world. you even learn bout all the different types of cells, like macrophages, and dentric cells if interested, cells at work is on crunchyroll, and i think mabey netflix. those i know for sure. theres also a Cells at Work Code Black, but thats more adult oriented. could even tell the difference between the two as the first one seemed like a younger person, and code black is definantly an adult male
