Stand outs in Game: Davis Mills QB looked poised and was accurate. Dare Ogunbowale and Akers RB looked powerful and hit the holes and did well receiving. Hutchinson and Skorwronek made meaningful plays Receiving. Scruggs and Green played well on offensive line.

STOOTSMANIA! Agreed Hutchinson and Skowronek played well. Akers had some very nice flashes too. Loved the rookie moment for Bullock when he caused the FF, but didn't play until the whistle blew and we lost possession of the fumble.

Mertch has time to come on strong. Caserio traded up and took him early. This is a situation where patience will be rewarded. Slip Hutch on practice squad, Ben will be WR #5. Shudder to think where Texans would be without drafting Fisher? He’s going to struggle against speed until he figures out angles & leverage but all in all I’m impressed and can’t stop seeing next Duane Brown ❤

Hutch looked really good and yeah Mitchie didn’t look good at all he needs to be better or else he getting cut or he going on the practice squad. TQ is getting cut Stover looked good he had some nice moments. On defense nothing of note Calen Bullock had some nice moments and Marcus Harris had some nice moments Also Mills either bumping up his trade stock or he showing why he a capable backup for CJ. So yeah some good things to take away from this game now it’s on to the second preseason game glad football is back Cody

O-Line Kenyon, Juice and Fisher got much needed reps and looked good. Backup Qb, I just feel we have a better chance to win with Davis, Keenum doesn’t have the arm and if the defense blankets the intermediate we have a Browns game repeat. Akers is really pushing Dare for that hb3 spot. I want to see more of Jordan, Brooks, and Taylor. TQ is snake bit, Stover looked great as a receiver and blocker, TE3 is his role. Wr Metchie couldn’t get open, had a drop of a body catch, Hutchinson looks far better. Metchie is a feel good story, but if you see the Dallas Cowboys, you’ll see how allowing sentiment to get in the way of decisions doesn’t equate to football. Until the hype translates to the field, Metchie is a cut candidate. Defensive line Harris and Davis had a few moments between them. Jamal Hill looked lost in pass coverage, Bullocks FF was the only positive to speak of for the secondary.
