Hah, I've had Rive Gauche light, but I swapped it for Rive Gauche edt. Light was so light that I could hardly smell it - it was detectable after 6-7 hours but very very mildly. My biggest steals were a vintage Amouage Gold in a khanjar golden plated bottle, vintage Chanel Egoiste 125ml from the early nineties and a 30/90ml bottle of vintage Jean Patou pour homme.

Great video 📹Ashton.. This week the Fragrance shop in UK had bottles of Fahrenheit Absolute and Aqua in stock amazingly. Managed to grab an aqua which I just reviewed. Gutted I missed out on Absolute. Both were around £50 for 125ml. They must have been doing a warehouse clearout.

I’ve got like 50 fragrances in my collection, but none are really rare at least not that I know of 🤔 I’ve got a 100ml bottle of Versace Man (purple bottle) it’s been discontinued for a while and i never see it anywhere anymore 😂 also have Guerlain L’homme Ideal Cologne and it’s discontinued but I think you can still find it on online discounters

I got a proper bargain 4years ago in boots. 3x eisenberg j'ose men's 50ml £10 each 2x eisenberg j'ose womens 50ml £10 each, 3x eisenberg love affair 30ml £5 each. Boots trialed them and couldnt sell them. Never seen them in the shops in the UK before or since. Used to get my supply from portugal on holidays.

Davidoff Leather Blend at 3.28. Fantastic leather fragrance, and not at all what you'd expect from a Davidoff fragrance. Underrated IMO.

Been hunting for frags since 2019, I use to have a collection back in the mid 2000’s since my then GF worked at Sears across from the fragrances, when I use to pick her up, I’d hangout at the fragrance counters and befriended a gentleman who introduced me to fragrances and gave me LOTS of free stuff lol, but I lost interest around 2010 and got back into it around 2019. Been lucky enough to snag some really rare ones, I am most proud about my Gaultier2’s, very hard to find and even more expensive, but luckily found them cheap from people who don’t know the hype or popularity. 2 weeks ago, i snagged those two 2011 vintage Burberry London bottles from Le Parfumier in Quebec, Canada. Plus, i found a store in Gatineau, Quebec that had both a sealed 40ml and 120ml for 55$ and 105$ lol couldn’t believe it haha. Anyways, I hope you and your family are doing well in the U.K, I am half European, half Canadian by the way. Cheers mate!

@@dantalksscentsuk Le Male and Gaultier2 aren’t really similar in terms of scent, however they do share similar notes and both are creations of the legendary Francis Kirkdjian. Le Male is a powdery fresh vanilla scent, Gaultier2 is a sweet musky vanilla/amber scent. I would say Le Male is universally better because it can be both worn in the summer, as well as winter. Gaultier2 is a winter frag or for a little cooler nights. If you ever want to hunt for vintage Le Male bottles, look for an X at the end of the batch code, and look out for the first letter of the batch code, here is a little example: D 1998 E 1999 F 2000 G 2001 H 2002 I None J 2003 K 2004 L 2004 also M 2005 N 2006 Each letter corresponds to a specific year, and look for the X at the end of the batch code, like this: JUW79 X ( 2003 batch ) J = 2003. Make sure you ask for the batch code, cause maybe one day you will find a vintage bottle.
