Nothing should be more of an indictment on Vince’s lack of talent (at least recentlyleast/last 15 about) or ability to present talent than him leaving, and Drew Mcyntyre- the very kid he labeled the fucking chosen one - immediately showing through multiple avenues (wrestling promos/online/interviews) that he genuinely is the most charming, cool and WITTY dude walking on earth. All of this has been here the entire time, people have seen it/heard it, and yet instead he was shoved in a locker outside of when he’d randomly wield a sword as if it are 1989 and hulk hogan was the big cool champ who you were created to be destroyed by. Hey at least he won the title in front of thousands of screens. I kid. But it shows not only how talented/how smart and quick witted Drew is, it makes me question why he didn’t try to branch out in other things prior, when Vince was murdering his youth and potential? Hey, at least he’s been unleashed though. There’s no putting this back in the bag; the world now knows Drew is a bright individual, and I really credit cm punk and hhh for both encouraging this personality and pushing it onto others. They are imo the main reason whoever this dude is makes you laugh no matter the situation. Had he loved this more than wrestling then perhaps he would’ve stayed out when they fired him when they shockingly did (he was an ic champion by that point too, made no sense unlike jinder/heath). I hope he does well and is in more things in general.
